Our Story

Nnamdi Iheme, CEO of the Nnamdi Iheme Foundation

The Nnamdi Iheme Foundation for the Blind and Less Privileged was founded by visionary leader Nnamdi Iheme, whose passion for uplifting the underserved sparked a transformative movement. Our mission is to amplify the voices of those often overlooked, providing visibility, resources, and opportunities to those in need. We are more than an organisation we are a symbol of hope and a catalyst for change. Through compassion, advocacy, and action, we strive to restore dignity and inspire transformation. Whether it’s equipping the blind with essential tools for independence, offering vocational training, providing feeding programs, or sheltering the less privileged, our commitment remains steadfast: to uplift lives and create lasting impact. We believe that every individual, regardless of physical ability or socioeconomic background, deserves the chance to thrive — not just survive. Every initiative is driven by our unwavering values of equality, empowerment, and community development.

2024

The Foundation officially launches. We began by distributing white canes, Braille books, and mobile audio guides to over 200 visually impaired individuals in urban and rural communities.

2025

Our impact grows. We initiate our first vocational training program for the visually impaired and less privileged, alongside monthly feeding drives and emergency housing support. We also partnered with local clinics to provide free healthcare outreach in underdeveloped areas.
